This coffee comes directly from the Kimel plantation in the Western Highlands.
The plantation was established in 1974 by Australian Bobby Globs.
Today, the plantation is wholly owned by the Indigenous landowners the Opais, the main tribe of this area.
The plantation has 432 permanent employees.
The employer provides housing, education for the children, medical care for all workers and their families, and clean water.
In addition to the great care given to the quality of the coffee, care is also taken with nature and the environment.
An ecologically responsible policy has been laid out, especially with regard to processing the pulp and recycling the water.
This preserves the clean river water for the surrounding villages and for the flora and fauna of the area.
