Very few women who grow coffee in Peru have the ability to sell microlots under their own names. With the help of the Asociación de productores cafetaleros Juan Marco “El Palto” (Jumarp) and their Mujeres program, Dolores Conception Visalot Arvalo and Floremilda Baca Ramirez, the producer of this plot, overcame the multitude of barriers that women took on these microplots under their own names, so rare. We are proud to offer these micro lots under their own name. Floremilda Baca Ramirez cultivates the 4 acres of Finca Guaba in Lonya Grande, Utcubamba, Amazonas with great attention to detail. The farm is certified organic. Floremilda is a member of Junarp and part of the mujeres program that has worked to improve livelihoods, autonomy and recognition of women coffee producers.
